Retail · United Arab Emirates
One roster for 22 stores — and payroll that follows.
A UAE retail chain moved from a scheduling tool + separate payroll to WorkMind, and cut shift-error escalations by two-thirds.
Construction · Qatar · 180 employees · 6 sites
A Qatari construction group standardised HR, attendance and payroll — and cut monthly WPS preparation from three days to under an hour.
Challenge
Al-Faisal Group ran attendance on paper timesheets at each of six sites. Payroll consolidated them into a master spreadsheet that fed WPS SIF file creation by hand.
Every month the same problems: a bad QID digit rejected the file, a missing allowance broke the basic/allowance ratio, and end-of-service payments got tangled with regular wages.
Solution
Biometric check-in went into WorkMind at every site, feeding straight into the payroll cycle. QID and IBAN were validated on hire — not on payroll close — so bad data never reached the SIF.
Leavers were routed through a dedicated final-settlement flow so end-of-service gratuity produced a separate SIF, exactly the way the bank expects.
Results
Payroll closes on the 25th and the SIF exports the same day. The bank has accepted every submission on first attempt since go-live.
Site managers no longer chase paper timesheets. The HR team runs the cycle in an afternoon and spends the freed time on onboarding and Q-planning.
“We used to burn the last week of every month on payroll. Now the SIF file exports on the day we close the cycle and the bank takes it first time.”
